Cambridge train station is the city’s main train station and connects passengers to Brighton, London Kings Cross, London Liverpool Street, and Stansted Airport. The station features an accessible toilet and step-free access across all platforms and entrances. Wheelchairs can be loaned at this station and accessible taxis are available at the taxi point. The station also features an accessible ticketing machine and ramps are available for easy transfer between trains and platforms. It is best to make yourself known to a member of staff upon arrival, so they know which train will need a ramp. Bedminster railway station will facilitate passenger travel from Cardiff to Cambridge or from Plymouth, Exeter, or Penzanz. Platforms 1, 2, and 3 all have ramped access and there is level access to the main entrance of the station.
An important note: this station is not staffed so assistance cannot be obtained from the station itself. Most services will be run by Great Western Railway (GWR) so passengers who seek assistance are advised to contact GWR.
